Who we are
Neon Routes is a trading name of L2 Digital Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11486769), registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration ZC110848. For the data described in this policy, L2 Digital Limited is the data controller.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name and email address, and — depending on which version of the form you see — your phone number, company, monthly ad budget, primary channel or goal, and your answers to the qualification questions. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare your growth audit and contact you about it.
Information collected automatically. We record which pages you view, which links you click, and which version of a page you were shown, together with your IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (such as utm_source, gclid or fbclid). This lets us understand which routes bring people here and which do not.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| _nr_bid | A random identifier for your browser. It contains nothing about you personally — it lets us count a visit as one visit, keep you on a consistent version of a page, and connect an enquiry to the campaign that brought it. | 1 year |
| _nr_var_* | Remembers which version of a page you were shown, so it does not change under you between visits. | 1 hour to 1 year |
Both are strictly necessary to deliver a consistent site and measure our own performance, and neither is used for advertising. If you have consented to advertising cookies, Google Tag Manager may set additional cookies — these are described in Google's own privacy documentation.
Advertising consent
Advertising and analytics storage are switched off by default. Nothing is shared with advertising platforms for ad measurement or personalisation unless you explicitly tick the consent box on the enquiry form.
That box is never ticked for you, and ticking it is entirely optional — your enquiry is submitted and answered exactly the same either way. If you do tick it, we record that decision (the fact of it, the time, and an anonymous identifier — never your name or email) so we have an auditable record of the consent you gave. The legal basis is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Legal basis for using your data
For responding to your enquiry: our legitimate interest in replying to someone who has asked us to get in touch, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract. For advertising measurement and personalisation: your consent, as described above. For basic site measurement: our legitimate interest in understanding whether our own website works.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers we need to run the service: our hosting provider; Google (Tag Manager and advertising platforms), but only for advertising purposes where you have consented; and Compass, our own lead management system, operated by us. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Consent records are kept for 24 months as evidence of the consent given. Anonymous analytics records are kept for up to 26 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
